Getting up close and personal with the deers of Nara
Today, I parted ways with my friends. They'd rather spend their last day in Kyoto but I wanted to see Nara before I head to Osaka. So I caught the train to Nara and headed to its park to see the famous deers.

Right after I got off the bus, I could already see them walking across the road. They're literally everywhere! I saw one guy wrestling with one who was trying to bite his map off thinking it's food 😅 I read somewhere they could be a tad violent so I decided to keep my distance. However, I did try to coax some of them to pose for my camera without success. 😭 I think they were thinking what is this lady trying to do not even getting us a biscuit, what a cheapskate!

Man, you have been warned.
The autumn color wasn't at it's peak yet but it was still so fun go around the temple ground.
Me and my camera got owned. 😭
Pink team over here, green team over there. So かわいい !
I stumbled into a kid and her dad waiting for their turn at the shrine. She was so cute that I took her photo and asked her dad to take a photo of us together. However, the dad wasn't sure how to work my camera out so the photo came out blurry. He doesn't speak English so I didn't try and ask him to take it again. I just smiled and said my thanks. Happens a lot while I was there. 😅 Anyway, the kid was so cute that I had to hug her and give her a kiss lol. I didn't know that kids there are not used to it? So she turned away from me. I'm used to kids here in my country, they think nothing of strangers kissing them. Sorry kid. You were just so adorable. 😍😘
I spy someone's fervent wish in my language.
More photos from the temple ground.
